A small selection from Prabhat’s photographs taken in Tel Aviv, Israel, during the coronavirus lockdown and social distancing time.
Way I see it: Corona is a precious gift life is bestowing on us humans.
Reducing everything to its real size, rebalancing the priority list, allowing everyone who can escape the easier and compelling path of watching a screen of some sort all the time, to see were he/she is at if not to go a touch deeper.
The set-up too, is magnificent.
The weather is glorious in a changing way.
The city is empty, though not deserted, and a river of heightened apprehension oozing out of apartments where people are voluntarily or forcibly locked up, lets you float on effortlessly.
Long ago, I used to live with a Master.
Every time I felt comfortable, every time I felt confident, he would do or say something that would pull the rug from under my feet and throw me unto myself for a moment or two.
Sadly my Master died and life had to take that job upon itself.
Imagine Mr. Gurdjieff shouting STOP and the entire globe freezes!
