Last part of Four Seasons, Darpan’s photo series.
When asked to write a little text to accompany his photos, Darpan replied:
The truth about my photography is not having to think, speak or write… But just be in the beauty and intelligence of nature.
What more is there to say ?
So here an excerpt from his book The Inner Truth Adventure:
When love meets obstacles it becomes a fire. When it freely flows in us, it threatens our love ideals as well as our secret intimate affection for our pains. It mercilessly dissolves our impurities, strips off what is not authentic in us. Love labors to enable us to realize what we really are: the Reality that can’t be taken away from us when all is gone! Blind devotion, romantic passion will not suffice here: we must let love operate, let it consume us until all our falsity is reduced to ashes.
By realizing what we are, we discover a love with no object, a love that depends on no one. It radiates from an invisible source at the core depth of our being. It may not be as hot as emotion, but its flame illuminates every moment.
Authentic love merges with our true nature: they are one. But when it crosses the thickness of our person, it loses its purity and fluctuates according to our expectations, our desires and our fears. Love then becomes a pale, versatile, copy of itself – here today, gone tomorrow.
Longing with all our being for love will not suffice. We must breach our protective armor and go beyond personal or emotional love, which is only the antechamber to authentic, impersonal love.
