This month’s planet transits discussed by Marga.
Since May 2022, we have been surfing the 64 Gates while the Sun was passing through them, during the course of the whole year, analysing their meanings and impact on our lives. They repeat every year, almost identical, except for a few minutes difference. (See solar transits 2022/2023)
So, from now on, we will talk about the transits of other planets and astral bodies, especially when they form Channels or change Gate. Some astral bodies, such as Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars move quickly; some, such as Jupiter, Saturn and the Lunar Nodes take a little longer; some, such as Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, have an even slower pace.
Once you accept life as it is, suddenly you fall in line with tao, with the eternal law. They are mysterious, unpredictable, one never knows what is going to happen… but that is the beauty of it – that one is constantly thrilled, surprised. As we mentioned last month, Pluto and the North Node paired upon on 23 June to activate the Channel of Mutation, 3-60. This configuration will remain until 26 August 2023. It’s an extensive period and therefore massive mutations, and to a certain extent inevitable ones, are on the cards. Decisions that are made during this time will be affecting, on a personal and collective level, the next few decades. So, be aware of the possible consequences of any action taken, even if at first they will not be so obvious and predictable. The nature of the energy created by Channel 3-60 can look like this: you go down to your usual coffee shop and get your usual latte – and maybe right there something unusual happens that will forever change the course of your life. The direction and quality of this change will be dictated by the specific influence this Channel has in your chart.
The occurrence of three retrograde planets – Saturn, Neptune and Pluto itself – plus Venus on 23 July, will make this time a very special one, where action is restrained and internalized, and where we are encouraged to reflect on the past, the present and the possibilities in the future. It will be a true slow-motion effect which will lead us to take more considered steps, often more out of necessity than out of choice. The tendentially beneficial influence of Jupiter sitting on Gate 24, Returning – which by its nature tends to brood and revisit things and ideas – will partly offset the dense and intense atmosphere generated by Channel 3-60, and will help intellectualize what is happening.
We also said that it is not a planet but the North Node that pairs up with Pluto in Gate 3, Beginnings. This means that the South Node will be in Gate 50, Values, its opposite and complementary Gate. This axis expresses the contrast between the values of tradition (50) and the chaos of new beginnings (3). It is within the limits of this climate that mutations and changes will play out. Some will have the flavour of initiation, some will revise the past and its values. Either way, it is time to grow up and take responsibility, to leave the tribe and become individuals, or realize that asserting one’s individuality cannot be at the expense of shared values. There is a difference between freedom and licence…
If our choices are not in alignment with the need to change or with our higher being, our choices – or non-choices – could be steeped in melancholy.
For those who have already gone through major changes in May – when Channel 3-60 was activated by Jupiter and Pluto – this will now be a time of stabilization and discovery of what those changes really meant and how they are being expressed in their new life. If the beginning has not been easy, do not despair – things will soon fall into place.
