What will happen after awakening? You will taste the divine, the taste which you have been trying to get all these past lives but could not get – you missed it always. It just cannot be described. If you are bored of the way you have been living then wake up. But if you have even a little bit of interest in it yet, then just turn over and go to sleep again.
But you will have to wake up one day. Sleep cannot be eternal and sleep cannot be the ultimate rest and darkness cannot be the experience of the ultimate truth. Sooner or later you will have to get up – it all depends on you. But whenever you awaken you will repent for not having woken up earlier – it was all at an arm’s length, it was just a question of reaching out for it.

The month looks fairly calm overall, although there are some elements of suspension due to the retrograde motion of several planets.
The 41–30 Channel of Recognition remains active in the background. It is defined by Pluto in Gate 41, Imagination, in the Root, and the North Node in Gate 30, Desire, in the Emotional Center.
The major development is that on October 16, Pluto resumes direct motion, against the general retrograde trend, reactivating and recalibrating the emotional intensity carried by the Channel of Recognition.
Jupiter, the only slow-moving planet to remain direct throughout the month, moves through every degree and line of Gate 4, Mental Solutions, in the Ajna, bringing its qualities of generosity and expansion into the realm of the mind and logical solutions.
Venus begins its retrograde motion on October 3 in Gate 44, Patterns, in the Spleen, where it remains throughout the month. It begins the month in Scorpio and, during its retrograde motion, returns to Libra on October 26. Over the course of the month, it moves through Gates 28, The Player of Life, and 50, Values.
As Venus moves through the Spleen, it brings its warm and beneficial influence to themes associated with values and with our sense of beauty and balance. Its retrograde motion makes this passage particularly significant, as it prompts us to reassess the criteria by which we recognize what has value for us.
Mercury, also in Scorpio, begins the month in Gate 50, Values, in the Spleen, then moves rapidly through Gates 28, The Player of Life, 44, Patterns, 1, Creativity, in the Self Center, and 43, Breakthrough, in the Ajna. On October 24, Mercury turns retrograde, retracing its path through Gate 43 and ending the month in Gate 1.
Its journey encompasses a wide range of themes, from evaluating what we consider important to seeking new forms of expression and understanding. During the final part of the month, Mercury’s retrograde motion may bring our attention back to ideas and perspectives that have already emerged, inviting us to review and deepen them before giving them a new form.
Mars remains in Leo throughout the month, moving through Gates 56, The Wanderer, 31, Influence, and 33, Retreat, all in the Throat, before entering Gate 7, Uniformity, in the Self Center, where it ends the month.
Its passage through the Throat keeps a strong expressive component active, alternating exploration with leadership and storytelling, all seasoned with its characteristic impulsiveness, which may reach peaks in the fiery sign of Leo. These tendencies may nevertheless be balanced by the charisma associated with these gates. Once Mars enters the Self Center, its energy turns toward a more precise and coherent sense of direction.
The other planets
Chiron is retrograde in Gate 3, Beginnings, in the Sacral.
Neptune is retrograde in Gate 25, Innocence, in the Self Center.
Saturn is retrograde in Gate 21, Control, in the Willpower Center.
All three planets – Chiron, Neptune, and Saturn – are in Aries, indicating a strong emphasis on redefining identity, identification, and the way we manage our resources, including material resources.
Uranus is retrograde in Gate 20, The Present, in the Throat, where it exerts an influence that tends to enhance the expression of intuitive intelligence in the here and now.
The other channels defined during the month
October 8–13: Uranus in Gate 20, The Present, in the Throat, and the Sun in Gate 57, The Gentle, in the Spleen, form the 20–57 Channel of Involuntary Impulses. The combination of the immediate presence of Gate 20 and the instinctive perception of Gate 57 can make our response to what is happening in the present particularly rapid, with an ability to act before the mind has had time to deliberate.
October 8–13: Neptune in Gate 25, Innocence, in the Self Center, and the Earth in Gate 51, Shock, in the Willpower Center, form the 25–51 Channel of Initiation. This channel brings together innocence and the disruptive force of destabilization, suggesting that only a pure heart can transform shock into awakening and empowerment. Otherwise, it is simply noise…
October 25–30: The Earth in Gate 27, Nourishment, in the Sacral, and retrograde Venus in Gate 50, Values, in the Spleen, form the 27–50 Channel of Preservation. This channel connects nourishment with values, bringing our attention to what we choose to protect, preserve, and nurture. The presence of retrograde Venus makes the reassessment of what we value and wish to maintain over time particularly significant.
October ends with many questions still open and a number of matters subject to renegotiation, with their resolution likely to unfold in November.
