Transits

This month’s planet transits discussed by Marga; “April is an intense and dynamic month, offering real possibilities for breakthroughs and new beginnings.”

War zone, peace sky

You must have heard the old proverb: “Laugh and the whole world laughs with you; weep and you weep alone.” They have changed this proverb a little bit in the modern times. Now they say: “Laugh and the whole world laughs with you; weep and you sleep alone.” But it is the same.

In the moment of laughter, suddenly you are one with the harmony of existence. Weep… you have fallen apart, you are no more part of it. In sadness, in seriousness, in despair, you are not in rhythm with existence. In laughing, in dancing, in singing, in loving, you are in rhythm with existence.

There is no evolution – only rhythm or no rhythm. These are two states, and they are available right now. You can be in rhythm, you can be not in rhythm – that is the freedom of man.”

Osho, Take It Easy, Vol. 1, Ch 6

April promises to be a dynamic month, full of possible turning points. All planets are in direct motion, and this imbues the energy field with a quality of continuous relentless movement, as if ongoing processes were finally finding the space to fully unfold.

The first half of the month is dominated by the final window of the Channel of Cycles (53–42), activated by Jupiter in Gate 53 (New Beginnings) and Chiron in Gate 42 (Increase), which remains active until April 11. For a months now, this channel has continued to support completions, closures, and deep healings, also on ancient and deeply rooted levels.

From April 11 to 15, the channel reinvents itself: Chiron enters Gate 3 (Beginning), while the Sun takes its place in Gate 42 (Increase) and meets Jupiter in Gate 53 (New Beginnings), thereby reactivating the Channel of Cycles (53–42). In this new configuration, the quality of the energy changes. If the work of completion was carried out with integrity during the preceding months, a genuine space now opens up for the initiation of new experiential and life cycles. It is a beginning that stands on a process of maturation that has finally reached its peak.

On the other hand, Chiron’s transit into Gate 3 (Beginning) introduces a frequency of profound mutation. In the I Ching, this is the Hexagram called “Difficulty at the Beginning” which holds the potential to generate and bring forth a new order out of chaos. For those who have Gate 60 (Limitation) defined in their personal design, an intense and at times sudden or unexpected movement of transformation may be triggered.

Throughout the entire month, the Channel 37–40 (Community), connecting Gate 37 (Family) and Gate 40 (Deliverance), remains defined by the Lunar Nodes. This channel continues to bring very powerful dynamics to the forefront: belonging, group identity, exchange, protection, and conflict.

Emotional intensity remains high and continues to be reflected on a global scale as well, in the dynamics between states, nations, religious affiliations, and collective identities. These are deeply tribal movements, in which the sense of belonging can stiffen into forms of opposition, fueling current geopolitical tensions. Tension remains high, and a resolution is not yet on the horizon (the transit extends until May 13).

At the beginning of the month, Mars is still in the Emotional Center, in Gate 36, Crisis, helping to maintain this charged atmosphere. Throughout April, Mars will progressively move through the Gates of Aries, continuing to fan the flames at different levels; along the way, it will meet “partners in crime”, sometimes to conjunct, sometimes to define channels: Gate 25, Innocence, in the Self Center, where it joins Neptune; Gate 17, Following, in the Ajna Center, where it meets Saturn; Gate 21, Control, and Gate 51, Arousal, both in the Willpower Center.

Channel 25–51, Initiation, gets activated several times throughout the month, marking three distinct moments:

From April 5 to 10, the Sun in Gate 51, Arousal, meets Neptune in Gate 25, Innocence. This initial activation opens a space for awakening and expanded perception, allowing consciousness to grasp a deeper meaning within the experience.

From April 25 to 27, it is Mercury in Gate 51 that meets Neptune in Gate 25, bringing this same frequency to the mental and communication plane. Insights and understandings may emerge with clarity, giving form to what has been so far only perceived.

From April 29, with Mars in Gate 51 and Neptune in Gate 25, the channel gets activated for the third time. Here, initiation takes root in action, channeling the momentum of awakening into concrete choices and direction (this transit continues until May 6).

Another significant passage involves the planet Venus: on April 23, she conjoins Uranus in Gate 8, Contribution, and on April 24, she enters Gate 20, The Now, where Uranus joins her on April 28, marking a shift in frequency. While in Gate 8 creative contribution seeks recognition and dissemination, in Gate 20 the energy expresses itself as direct, immediate action, capable of manifesting without mediation.

Uranus, by its very nature, brings disruption, acceleration, sudden events, and radical change. Its entry into Gate 20 may therefore translate into an enhanced capacity to trigger visible, tangible events, with consequences that are rapid and difficult to contain.

On a personal level, this may coincide with sudden actions, decisive choices, and moments of clarity that prompt one to move forward without hesitation. On a global level, this same energy may manifest as sudden events, abrupt turning points, or decisions and occurrences that rapidly alter the landscape, yielding significant and immediate effects.

The fact that Venus brokers this passage, who precedes this entry and prepares the ground for it, introduces an element of harmony and openness that hints at a potentially more favorable outcome. It serves as an auspicious sign amidst a powerful and potentially disruptive movement.

April is, therefore, an intense and dynamic month, offering real possibilities for breakthroughs and new beginnings, partly thanks to the work of completion and maturation that characterized the preceding months. On a collective level, the tension linked to the dynamics of war remains high, continuing to manifest through tribal and identity-driven mindsets, as well as through confrontation between groups, nations, and worldviews.

In this context, any possibility of a turning point requires profound maturation on the part of all parties involved, a maturation that entails responsibility, self-awareness, and the capacity to transcend entrenched, reactive mechanisms. Considering the actors currently at play, such a transition appears unlikely…

And precisely for this reason, individual work becomes central: each of us is called upon to mature, to integrate, and to transcend our own emotional and reactive dynamics. Even when the collective movement appears to follow a trajectory of regression, there always exists, running parallel to it, a path of evolution in which the personal role becomes truly significant.

It is from this level that a broader change can emerge, one capable, over time, of influencing the collective field as well. As Osho says: even if many things in the world are clearly “not in rhythm”, at odds with universal harmony, we can choose to move “in rhythm”, despite of it all.

Enjoy the Spring!
